Owner Operator REQUIREMENTS

Licensing/Registration/Certification

Required: As required by law for vehicles that are operated. Must qualify for coverage by the TRANSFLEET, INC. insurance policy. Valid CDL Class A - Commercial Drivers License.

Truck Driving Experience

A truck driver must have a CDL license to drive.

If you have extensive safe driving experience talk to us we would be able to place you immediatley with the pay and miles that match your qualifications.

What Kind of Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Do I need?

Truck drivers must have the ability to safely operate a transport vehicle. Knowledge of vehicle safety and controls systems. Job involves reading maps or GPS, simple paperwork tasks and reporting. Typically you will start your day with an inspection of the vehicle, drive to pick-up and load. Then drive to delivery and unload.

Physical

Every truck driver will need current DOT physical. In addition the DOT Physical must be registered with the DMV electronically. In 2020 you may no longer be required to carry your Medical Card. We encourage all drivers to maintain a healthy lifestyle that includes diet, exercise and regular medical checkups.
